What you will enjoy doing*

• You will be working with internal clients - e.g., process, mechanical equip., instrumentation, operations


• Implementing standard control systems on projects with guidance


• Performing in-house setup, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems panels and PCs


• You will also be learning and applying Linde standards to projects and providing feedback


• Participating in the execution of the commissioning of the primary control systems - e.g., simulation testing, start up, tuning, auto restart, and supervisory control in the field


• Implementing software and hardware updates/conversions for standard product portfolio Position will be filled at level to commensurate with candidate's experience

What makes you great

• You will have a BS Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering


• Background in programming languages and basic understanding of control systems and control theory


• Familiarity and or willingness to learn Rockwell Automation PLC/ControlLogix programming and GE iFIX HMI/SCADA development


• You will additionally have experience programming in IEC 61131 languages including Ladder, Function Block Diagram and Structured Text


• Familiarity and or willingness to learn I/O distribution, PLC configuration, control panel layout and design


• Ability to conduct control panel I/O check outs, instrumentation calibration, and control voltage electrical troubleshooting


• Ability to travel up to 25% per year is required, primarily in the US but may require travel internationally


• Proficient abilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) required
