Provide peer counseling and support to individuals seeking to enhance their quality of life. Encourage and support the enhancement of recovery through mentoring and the installment of hope and empowerment. Educate and model self-empowerment and self-responsibility as a core recovery-oriented principle guiding all aspects of service delivery. Identify community and natural supports and assist individuals with accessing and participating in such activities/events. Utilize one's own recovery experience to facilitate the completion of individual recovery plans.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Certified Peer Specialist license in the state of Pennsylvania required.
• A High School Diploma/GED.
• Must have maintained, within the last three (3) years, at least twelve (12) months of successful, part time paid or voluntary work experience or one year of post-secondary education experience totaling twenty-four (24) credit hours.
• 1 year of experience working with Mental/Behavioral health adults preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
