Everest National is seeking experienced business professionals to join our Everest Specialty Underwriters LLC business unit as an AVP in our Financial Institutions group.
Develop, conduct and coordinate financial analyses, company reports and company presentations to facilitate business decisions.
Conduct financial and business diligence including industry analysis, competitive position, growth prospects, and capital markets position on potential customers in multiple industries.
Growing and managing a portfolio of profitable business focused on providing Director & Officer, Errors & Omission, Employment Practices and Fiduciary Liability.
Developing and cultivating new and existing broker and customer relationships in assigned territory.
Working with brokers and clients to create customized insurance solutions.
Perform all aspects of the underwriting process and due diligence including review and analysis of SEC documents, capital market information, securities offering memoranda, current litigation trends and individual risk factors.
Negotiate deal terms and contract language.
Source new business opportunities through a strong broker and client network.

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or economics with 7 or more years of business or underwriting experience.
Excellent analytical skills with a working knowledge of financial statement analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective negotiation skills with the ability to find "win/win" solutions.
Ability to stay organized in a fast paced and high intensity work environment with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
Willing to take initiative, function independently and be entrepreneurial all with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

For NYC only: The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $210,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
