POSITION PURPOSE
Under general supervision, greet and assist retail guests encouraging and reinforcing purchasing decisions. Process sales transactions, wrap and package gifts and maintain cleanliness and stock levels on sales floor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Facilitate retail sales, including customer assistance and follow-up.
2. Encourage and reinforce customer decisions to increase average dollar sale and units sold per transaction.
3. Stock and maintain the appearance of sales floor and merchandise displays.
4. Operate electronic cash register and ticketing system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions.
5. Follow established regulations, guidelines and procedures related to the sale of alcohol and or tobacco.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be atleast 21 years of age.
* Demonstrated money-handling and math skills.
* Demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 1-year experience directly related to the accountabilities specified.
