Job Description:

Infosys is seeking Linux Systems Administrator. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Infrastructure Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of San Jose, CA, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 4 years of working experience in Linux Administration
• Working knowledge of:
• Linux Server Management
• DNS
• DHCP
• VMware
• Windows Server Administration
• ITIL Process
• Change Management
• Incident Management
• Problem Management
• Security
• Disaster Recovery
• Conduct Support of:
• Setup
• Configuration
• Maintenance
• Performance Tuning
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Linux Servers, Windows Servers, and ESX Servers
• Build Linux Server to meet the organization security standards
• Provide lab support on-site
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure smooth flow of activity and timely completion
• Practiced in remediating vulnerabilities and patching servers
• Perform on-call troubleshooting required for production incidents
• Provide technical enablement by: performing presentations, and content creation
• Schedule, prioritize, accomplish R&D-related activities and communicate actions and results as needed

• Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources

• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
• Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment
• Good in communication and Client Interaction.
• Demonstrated ability for setting, and executing toward, strategic direction across areas of responsibility.
