This position will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting functions for ManpowerGroup North America, analyzing balance sheet and income statement data, and will participate on cross-functional teams as needed.

  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in spreadsheet tools.
  • Ability to research issues and solve problems through gathering and analysis of data.

  • Ability to create strong support documentation of functions and processes.
  • Ability to partner with other areas of the Company to improve processes.

Communication

  • Ability to interact with all levels of ManpowerGroup.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide concise explanations of variances and observations.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Participate in the month end financial reporting process; prepare journal entries and supporting schedules; review data and research variances as needed; assist with preparation of reporting packages.
  • Maintain various schedules related to various area(s) of responsibility, acting as subject matter expert for more complex areas; Communicate with other disciplines/field as necessary to facilitate understanding of data.
  • Participate in special projects as the need arises.
  • Continually review and evaluate information flows and transaction processing in assigned tasks. Recommend and implement process improvements that will improve effectiveness of controls and efficient work flows.
  • Prepare and/or maintain ongoing documentation of current processes and procedures.
  • Qualifications:

    Qualifications


    • Minimum 4-6+ years relevant work experience
    • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and HFM desirable
    • Master's Degree or CPA/CMA designation preferred but not required

    This position is based in our Global Headquarters located in downtown Milwaukee. Employees can enjoy an onsite cafeteria, coffee shop and gym along with beautiful views of the Milwaukee river, Deer District, and historic downtown architecture. ManpowerGroup is proud to support a flexible working environment. Employees may work virtual some of the time depending on role (1-2 days per week).
