SUMMARY
Jabil Defense and Aerospace in Grand Junction is a precision machining facility specializing in aerospace products, turbine engine components, rapid prototyping, and industrial pumps. This is a part-time shop hand position.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, as qualified




• Assist and carry out tasks determined by the Production Manager




• Complete all job-related paperwork, accurately, per requirements 




• Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all times




• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others




• Maintain a clean and safe working environment




• Perform other related duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift and load parts into machinery (capable of lifting 50 lbs.)




• Good communication skills (verbal and written)




• Familiarity with CNC operation a plus




• Manual machining experience a plus




• Able to read job instructions and blueprints




• Intermediate Shop math skills




• Strong attention to detail

 Education & Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent




• Secondary School, Technical Certificate, or Degree preferred




• Basic computer and data entry skills

This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $17.00. As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for Part-Time benefits required under the law.
