MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST II

Connect Staffing, Inc. seeks a Marketing Communications Specialist II for a long-term contract role with a top corporate employer headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. This individual will activate our client's global employment brand through human-centered experiences throughout the candidate journey. Hourly rate up to $30.40/hr based on experience.  Responsibilities include:


  • Execute against strategic priories to create interest and awareness of careers to internal and external talent by leveraging candidate communications, career website, social media, videos, recruitment collateral, and more. You should be able to

  • Work autonomously and across functional areas to achieve outcomes and serve as a steward of the brand when representing the company on social media and external engagements

  • Drive awareness of career opportunities through earned, owned, and paid media

  • Drive editorial calendar and content creation for social and digital channels including both written and visual content

  • Source and create content to support recruitment marketing initiatives; including but not limited to content for social media, talent community engagement, career sites, and events

  • Drive positive brand sentiment and reputation management on key platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.

  • Perform competitive and market research to inform strategies and tactics Create search engine-optimized job postings framework for priority personas and focus areas

  • Plan, write and deploy email nurturing campaigns for Talent Communities; activities may include the creation of landing pages, forms, and email copy and templates

  • Maintain and create consistent candidate communications in the applicant tracking system

  • Drive brand continuity by operating within brand standards, tone of voice, and employer brand messaging pillars

  • Provide strategic consultation and tactical execution for client groups in support of pipeline health and hiring plans for both internal and external talent

  • Partner closely with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Corporate Communications, social media, and Marketing teams to ensure messaging and brand continuity across channels

  • Support marketing execution for adjacent programs including Outreach and Compliance, Diversity and Inclusion, and University Relations

  • Work with agency partner(s) to amplify client's content and employer brand messaging

  • Ad-hoc recruitment marketing and employer branding project management and support in alignment with department and team initiatives

Qualifications:


  • 3 plus years of marketing, digital/social channel marketing, or media planning experience

  • Superior communication skills – verbal, listening, and written; AP style is a plus

  • Copywriting for print and digital channels

  • Knowledge of social media, brand listening, and digital marketing tools

  •  Creative thinker with a preference for working in a dynamic, hands-on environment

  • Experience managing data, measuring data-based outcomes, and brand effectiveness efforts

  • Aptitude to interpret data and make recommendations from insights garnered

  • Ability to work cross-functionally to drive results

  • Proven ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by the date of hire

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Direct experience supporting talent acquisition or serving in a recruitment marketing or employer branding capacity (corporate or agency)

    • Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to edit existing brand templates

    • Experience in creating and executing email marketing campaigns in recruitment marketing or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Avature, Smashfly, Hubspot, MailChimp, etc.)

    • HTML experience is a plus

    • Google Analytics, including UTM parameters

    • Understanding of UX and modern web design principals

    • Ability to articulate concepts and solutions, verbal and visual presentation
