This position performs a variety of basic maintenance tasks as directed by their leader. Tasks include, but not limited to, preventative equipment maintenance, evaluation of machinery issues, repair and machine part replacements for manufacturing machinery, mechanical equipment, facility buildings and grounds. This position will assist other Maintenance Technicians and outside support Technicians to complete more complex tasks as needed.
Education/Certifications/Experience
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Minimum 1 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Associate or Technical Degree
Bachelor Degree in related field
Certification in Basic Electrical and/or Basic Mechanical and/or HVAC
Minimum 2-5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills and Ability
Ability to read, analyze and interpret prints, specifications, and schematics to complete preventative and responsive maintenance tasks on equipment and buildings/grounds
Basic electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing capabilities to complete preventative and responsive maintenance tasks on equipment and buildings/grounds
Basic knowledge of robotics, robotic work areas, CNC/NC machining centers, PLC Programing, fabrication equipment, industrial painting and powder coating systems, mechanical conveyors and trolley systems
Basic knowledge of math and measuring functions
Ability to safely operate basic machinery (saws, drills, etc) and safely utilize a variety of hand/power tools
Proficient in basic computer skills to included Document Retrieval and Microsoft Outlook applications.
Ability to read and follow safety and work instructions, procedures and policies
Ability to work regular schedule and overtime, as required
Ability to effectively work with coworkers in a team environment and interact with all employees in a respectful, pleasant manner
Ability to accurately and neatly complete required maintenance documentation
Ability to attend off site equipment specific training
