Inbound Quality Control Manager at Arhaus in Boston Heights, Ohio

Job Description:

The Inbound Quality Control Manager is responsible for supervising/leading staff and maintaining quality control processes, analyzing the results, and giving feedback to internal and external customers.  Must ensure and assist in determining if the product is in accordance with the specifications.  Ensure the team follows the set processes and adheres to best practices and product quality standards.  This will include three warehouse locations – Dallas, North Carolina, and Cleveland. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manage and lead the Inbound Quality Control team making sure we have the information/tools to conduct and evaluate quality.

  • Prioritize the inspections of the inspectors.

  • Work cross-functionally to resolve any quality issues identified.   Use various data points – impact to customer, stores, financial, etc. to make recommendations.

  • Support and enhance our inbound inspection process (internally and externally) in order to improve returns/exchanges and improve customer satisfaction

  • Devise procedures and directions for recording and reporting data; set KPIs.

  • Work with external vendors to make sure there is a solid inspection process; review their inspection reports. Use these inspection reports to help drive compliance.

  • Develop, or enhance processes and follow through on implementation.

  • Create KPIs to help identify ongoing issues and drive changes

  • Other duties as assigned                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

  • Quality inspection in related field

  • Experience in working with furniture and decorative accessories

  • Experience with implementation of corrective action programs

  • Experience in developing quality programs

  • International experience

  • Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent organizational, time management, technological and communication skills

  • Ability to manage stress effectively and to perform in a high-energy environment

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business

  • Ability to jump in and work alongside the team
