How You Will Make an Impact

A Parts Shipping/Receiving Associate at Reading Truck is a motivated person with excellent organizational skills, proficient with computers, lift truck experience. This person would stage future jobs, do Shipping and Receiving and be responsible for inventory control.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Follow all safety rules and comply with all PPE requirements.


• Material - verify part number of received material, quantity, close out purchase orders in system and put material away in proper area.


• Receiving vehicles - Check for damage, fill out check in sheet and enter vehicle into location map and park.


• Stage vehicle and body and all build material for build team.


• Shipping, package and prepare all required paperwork prior to shipment being picked up by vendor.


• Responsible to clean area and follow 5S requirements.

Required Credentials

• Demonstrated experience in Shipping & Receiving environment: Level I = 0-3 years; Level II = 3-8 years; Level III = 8+ years


• Understanding and experience performing Inventory control processes


• Demonstrated experience performing Shipping and Receiving processes & tasks (Freight, UPS and FedEx)


• Ability to visually see, read, and comprehend data supplied on shipping, receiving and purchase orders.


• Manufacturing industry or automotive background experience preferred

Work Environment

• Frequent lifting up 35 to 50 lbs
