JOB TITLE: Export Logistic Technician 

DEPARTMENT:  Logistic 

JOB SUMMARY

Mainly responsible to coordinate and ensures the execution of all shipments in accordance with orders due dates, products availability, and regulatory export compliance.    Be the liaison between Secondary Packaging and Warehouse driving the vendor management activities providing a smooth in/out materials-product process flow.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•    Works closely with PRMO and PRPO Planning representatives to identify shipments requirements and ensuring timely delivery and compliance with Export regulations.

o    Align shipping schedules bases on orders due date and service

o    Communicate on a timely basis any capacity of any relevant issues affecting delivery or service commitments 

•    Coordinate and schedules with carrier’s ocean shipments booking 

•    Manage Shipment Performance, addressing and resolving customers discrepancies or inventory issues

•    Analyze Secondary Packaging Production Plan to schedule materials requirements and ensure materials be available on time

o    Coordinate daily picking plan

o    Coordinate supply of packaging cartons and inserts supply

•    Assist with the execution of miscellaneous shipments

•    Prepare Shipments KPI’s reports and publish Metrics

•    Assist with imports cargo release process, including SURI and Levanta 

•    Assist with miscellaneous shipments 

•    Provide support to others warehouse functional areas as required

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•    Strong organizational skills required for a fast=paced, deadline-oriented environment.

•    Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) 

•    Good Scheduling Knowledge 

•    Experience with ERP System Knowledge (BPCS, SAP, JDA).

•    Ability to project-manage, work under pressure, and mAeet agreed, and often, tight deadlines.

•    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. 

•    High level of energy and discipline commanding respect of internal and external 

•    Able to work with minimum supervision

•    Capable of working individually or as part of a multifunctional team including peers and/or senior management

•    Knowledge of Export classifications, harmonized tariff classifications, Electronic Export Information filing, Incoterms 2010, CBP directives, customs valuation, country of origin, marking, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) , and US Customs Regulations

WORK ENVIRONMENT

•    Normal office environment with some exposure to dust, heat and cold. 

•    The noise level in the warehouse environment is usually moderate 

•    Ability to perform light to medium physical work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force 

•    Incumbent could be exposed to fumes of chemicals.

EDUCATION

•    3-5 years working in Supply Chain 

•    Preferred experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Environment

•    Production Scheduling Management

EXPERIENCE

•    Bachelor’s degree required or three or more years’ experience in Supply Chain.
