An essential part of the Marketing organization, we are a premier source of intelligent marketing insights, world class strategy, brilliant concepts, renowned design and content that inspires action and delivers results.

POSITION SUMMARY

Evernorth is seeking a Copywriter to join our internal agency team, reporting directly to one of our Group Creative Directors. You will be a fundamental part of our team, contributing to creative projects across all dimensions of the Evernorth business (B2B, B2B2C, D2C,). Primarily, you will craft content for eviCore healthcare, a leader in medical benefits management, one of the many capabilities that Evernorth brings to market. eviCore empowers the improvement of care by connecting patients, providers and health plans with intelligent, evidence-based solutions to enable better outcomes. This role requires an expert storyteller who is fluent in concepting and copywriting for multiple channels and audiences. All of this with a goal of delivering meaningful brand experiences for payers, providers and patients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers and other members of the agency team to bring insight-driven creative concepts to life in unexpected and thought-provoking ways


• Translate complex business strategies and product information into engaging headlines, copy and calls to action that inspire, inform and drive action for all audiences


• Develop concept and write copy for a wide-range of cross-channel creative executions such as web, video, digital display, email, social, print collateral and presentation narratives


• Edit content from internal product and marketing partners to ensure correct tone, flow, clarity, grammar and spelling


• Demonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends, advertising industry shifts and best practices


• Confidently articulate creative ideas during internal creative reviews and brainstorms


• Become an expert regarding Evernorth's robust offering of health services, with a particular focus on eviCore


• Act as a steward of the Evernorth and eviCore brands, responsible for maintaining consistency of verbal identity across all experiences


• Partner with account and project management teams to ensure creative is on brief, on time and on budget

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in advertising, writing or communications


• 3-5 years of experience in an advertising or communications agency or highly strategic in-house agency


• A stellar portfolio with examples that demonstrate conceptual ability and well-crafted copy, including web content, video, digital, email and print


• An expert-level understanding of how to bring an idea to life and best practices across digital and traditional channels


• An enviable level of attention to detail when writing copy


• An aptitude for earning trust and developing meaningful relationships


• A positive, can-do attitude with a growth mindset

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 50,300 - 83,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
