This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provides expert content and professional leadership on assignments that will strengthen and sustain the operating effectiveness of Care+ technology organization.

  • Manages cross-functional process improvement projects and provides tracking and progress reporting.

  • Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.

  • Lead the Development of appropriate plans to support the change initiatives, including plans for (communication, leadership engagement, improvement & implementation plans, sustainable improvement plans)

  • Identify and work to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful change initiative

  • May specialize in one or more of the following (or similar) areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, process-driven systems requirements.

  • Tracks, reports, and facilitates activities to drive objectives & key results (OKRs) and help leaders with annual goal process within their org.

  • Facilitates delivery and review of engagement data analysis to the lead team, deliver key engagement messages, drive consistent engagement levers into LT teams (fireside chats, coffee connects, group skip level meetings, "ask me anything", onsite events, etc.)

  • Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.

  • Focuses on providing thought leadership within Operating Effectiveness but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.

  • Helps to develop a proactive response to employee engagement. Owner of a long-term engagement roadmap, project plan, action items with continuous deliverables.

  • Supports Planning Leaders with standardization, monitoring and reporting; operating mechanisms inclusive of extended staff, ops metrics review and other activities (not limited to):

    • Bulk contractor conversion requests

    • Hiring controls

    • Tech binder or materials needed for deep dives

    • New hire strategy

    • Large scale recognition processes or ideas to utilize recognition tools more effectively (i.e.: 1/1, major launches, big wins within LT org)



  • Operationalize event requests with the lens of a repeatable set of processes and solutions

    • LT Org all-hands, quarterly meetings, etc.

    • Drive facilitation, partner with EA's for calendaring & distro's. Curate materials, influence content, drive best practices for events.

    • Work with meeting services for events over X capacity

    • Managing central repository for past event materials and participation ratios



Qualifications

  • 7+ years in Project Management within a large matrixed organization

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience

  • Tangible record of successfully meeting expectations and delivery outcomes

  • Experience building complex Project and Program artifacts including Project charters, project plans, milestone views, status reports, issues, risk, and contingency plans, etc.

  • Strong experience and high level of comfort with tools organizing, analyzing, and reporting on data

  • Ability to stay very organized while managing multiple tasks and activities

  • Takes initiative and is a self-starter

  • Dealing with ambiguity and problem solving

  • Senior and Executive leadership presence required

  • Advanced Presentation/Facilitation skills required

  • Adapt communication style for the audience and topics, including expertise with facilitating in both virtual and face-to-forums

  • Exemplary Written and Verbal Communications

  • Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 111,500 - 185,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
