Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Vendor Operations Support. This is a permanent position. The purpose of this position is the pro-active operational management of vendors across a diverse range of workstreams, including badge and training management of a contingent workforce, vendor compliance, workflow communication, and invoice reconciliation. The position will be based on-site within a specific client's Data Centre as part of the Vendor Operations Support (VOS) team. The ideal candidate will have a solid operational background with strong interpersonal skills, drive, and enthusiasm, along with the required skill set outlined below;



This job will have the following responsibilities:



  • Responsible for pro-active vendor support and implementing plans to support account, corporate and client strategies and objectives

  • Serve as the main point of contact with vendors on a day-to-day basis for managing and improving maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) delivery

  • Responsible for end-to-end follow-up of vendor onboarding, from commercial to operational

  • Supports site teams in submitting purchase requisitions

  • Resolve invoice issues to ensure prompt payment to vendors and dive deep to recommend and implement corrective actions for optimization

  • Sharing quarterly operational demands with the vendor

  • Tracking, analyzing and presenting operational performance and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) metrics

  • Responsible for tracking vendor training, and badging

  • Ensuring compliance to company standards and policies

  • Key contributor to Monthly and Quarterly business reviews on vendor performance

  • Rollout HQ initiatives and updates directly to vendors to ensure compliance

  • Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to understand the business and client needs

  • Prioritize workflow by considering the risk, importance, urgency, and potential business and/or client implications

  • Track the completion of tasks and monitor deadlines providing feedback to the stakeholders

  • Other duties may be assigned.



Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in an operation or service-based business, preferably procurement or accounts payable in the tech industry

  • Internal and external stakeholder management experience essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent to a 4-year college program in relevant discipline or combination of education and experience

  • Project Management or Six Sigma certifications, desirable.
