The Actuarial / Business Analytics Lead Analyst - Pharmacy Governance role will be a key contributor to the pricing governance team responsible for pharmacy governance initiatives, data and assumption process improvements, and methodology alignments, all of which are critical to support business decisions . This person will conduct actuarial studies, support technical updates, and communicate results, and will partner with Pharmacy Underwriting, Finance, and Economics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze variances between underwriting projections and actual results, and investigate differences in collaboration with other teams including Pharmacy Underwriting, Economics, and Finance


• Conduct studies on pricing models and assumptions for accuracy, and monitor changes over time


• Examine methodology differences between tools, and support updates to existing models


• Provide actuarial support and analyses for strategic initiatives leveraging strong business acumen and collaboration


• Create and support controls processes for future assumption updates


• Actively participate in team and other internal meetings and present on pharmacy-related topics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration or related field


• 2+ years of actuarial, business analytics, finance, or related work experience


• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to identify problem areas and take initiative to implement solutions

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 73,500 - 122,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
