The Business Analytics / Actuarial Lead Analyst - Pharmacy Pricing role will be a key contributor to the pricing model team responsible for underwriting tool development used for pharmacy earnings projections. This person will participate in actuarial studies, technical updates, communication and training, and will partner with Pharmacy Underwriting, Finance, and Economics.

Responsibilities


  • Complete periodic updates of pricing assumptions and support ongoing enhancements to pricing methodologies as part of tool releases

  • Develop rating methodology for new pricing and product strategies

  • Create and implement solutions for ad hoc pricing requests and projects

  • Provide pricing support and analyses for strategic initiatives leveraging strong business acumen and collaboration

  • Partner closely with Pharmacy Underwriting including training, communication, and tool testing

  • Actively participate in team and other internal meetings and may present on pharmacy-related topics

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration or related field

  • 3+ years of actuarial, business or healthcare analytics, finance, or related work experience

  • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to identify problem areas and take initiative to implement solutions

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 73,500 - 122,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
