Fishcare Financial Analyst at Mars, Incorporated in Chalfont, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

The Fishcare Financial Analyst is a unique and critical role that will support multiple areas within finance for Mars Fishcare. The analyst role will have operational and analytical responsibilities across fp&a, demand finance, and controls. The role will partner closely with multiple members of the finance team as well as cross-functional partners spanning sales, supply, and R&D. This role will allow for both wide-ranging development and creation of value within the finance function and broader business at Fishcare.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree, preference in finance, accounting, or related discipline


• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related business analysis role


• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, BC/Navision, etc)

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Execute key period close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations


• Own intercompany process including payments, receipts, reconciliations, and currency impacts


• Prepare reporting and analyses on period performance with a focus on delivering actionable insights


• Lead G&A overheads including budget preparation, forecasting, and partnership with cross-functional teams


• Ownership of key forecasting and planning documents across periodic S&OP+ process as well as AEP (annual execution plan) with emphasis on continuous improvement


• Analysis to support RGM (Revenue Growth Management) pillar which will focus on pricing initiatives, competitive analysis, and trade investment


• Support timely completion of internal controls including implementation of new ICE (Internal Controls Excellence) framework


• Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed
