Job Description:

The major focus of this position is to profitably grow The Krusteaz Company’s branded category (bake, griddle, beverage, batter/breading) as well as custom formulated product if applicable at assigned accounts. The assigned account could include Regional Chains, National Accounts, Corporate Distributor HQ’s accounts and or Non- Commercial HQ’s accounts.


This position will be responsible for independently developing and implementing sales and marketing plans that will drive profitable and sustainable growth. This position will get prior alignment from the director before these plans are finalized. Executing these plans will be done by retaining and penetrating current business while acquiring profitable new targeted accounts, categories and sku’s.  Key enablers of success are building meaningful customer relationships, understanding customers’ business requirements, leveraging The Krusteaz Company’s value proposition, and flawlessly executing winning plans. It is also critical to properly leverage the available support tools and teams such as CRM, Digital Marketing, CRG and the MISO team.


The Senior Strategic Account Manager will routinely interact with key customer personnel to build sales objectives in alignment with their business plans.  This position is expected to develop strategic and tactical plans, sales and capabilities presentations, insights, and forecasting and utilize analytics to drive results. This position is preferred to reside in the East Coast area.

  • Develop Annual Operating Plan that will deliver short- and long-term sales objectives.

  • Own direct and meaningful relationships with decision makers (all levels) at assigned accounts

  • Acquire new business by continually sourcing and selling new opportunities.

  • Penetrate existing customers by identifying, presenting, and closing new opportunities.

  • Retain current mix of products and volume with existing customers.

  • Ability to effectively present The Krusteaz Company capabilities and go to market strategies with all partners.

  • Effectively develop, negotiate, and maintain customer contracts and desired Sku and account profitability

  • Establish travel cadence to maintain high visibility in all markets, to ensure positive representation, and focus on The Krusteaz Company’s product line

  • Utilize CRM to effectively manage your business to plan, track and deliver sales objectives.

  • Manage Trade Spending programs and T/E in a cost-effective manner to ensure spending is in line with budgets.

Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing.

  • 6-10 years’ experience in dealing with major foodservice accounts

  • 3+ years’ experience with Regional Chains, National Accounts, Non-Commercial Accounts and or Corporate Distributor HQ Accounts

  • Proven successful track record of growth in Foodservice sales is required.

Salary Information:



  • An employee in this position can expect a salary range between $119,151 and $196,589. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
