The Beverage Area Leader is responsible for working with team members to meet set objectives for assigned production lines and monitor safety, quality, reliability, and scrap.

You Will
Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times
Maintain positive and safe culture by completing monthly 360 training, safety observations, and near miss observations
Initiate action for food safety issues
Ensure effective communication between shifts
Verify blow molder process settings are accurate and within the standard process parameters
Enter proper and accurate downtime notifications and repair work orders into SAP
Maintain PSA’s in a timely manner
Follow production schedule and work orders to ensure correct product is being produced
Identify, prioritize, and report problems with recommended solutions to be addressed during scheduled down times
Enter proper and accurate downtime and repair work orders into SAP
Ensure quality product through proper testing, data entry and observation
Participate in team meetings
Report non-conformities, production, machine or quality issues on process to the beverage team leader
Direct and monitor work flow and daily functions of the team
Train team members on SAP functions for daily activity (label returns, scrap, downtime, etc.)
Serve as back up production technician as needed (covering breaks, absent associates, etc.)
Follow production schedule and work orders so that correct product is being produced
Determine reason and best course of action for repairs/improvements when lines are not running accurately
Focus on continuous improvement in areas of maintenance, safety, quality, reliability, and productivity
Miscellaneous related duties as assigned
You Have
High school diploma or general education degree
Three or more years of manufacturing experience
Relevant mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge
Resilient leadership skills
High level of personal integrity
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Proficient in computer programs (Iconics and SAP experience preferred)
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Retain strong customer focus in all areas
Self-motivated
Lifting Requirements: 25 – 75 lbs.
Vision Requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Constant: Use arms, hands, and fingers to feel and/or reach, speak, and listen
Frequent: Push and/or pull carts/bins, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Occasional: Sit, climb, and balance
Environment: Exposed to high levels of noise
