The Corporate Security Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, implementation, installation, and monitoring of physical access, CCTV, and visitor management systems. The role will oversee access control profiles for employees, contractors, tenants, and third-party team members, in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Maintain access control system datasets, including but not limited to, compiling reports, assisting with requests from internal teams, and reporting key metrics to leadership as requested. Actively monitor and respond to critical system alerts on access control systems, communicating effectively and appropriately with internal and external stakeholders during critical incidents. Assist in policy and procedure development related to access control and performs research on best practices and stay current on related technology. The role will monitor work performed by physical security vendors and provide timely reports of the status of work to security leadership and partners, including barriers to timely completion. They will identify issues and respond to outages, equipment failure, and breakages working with corporate security leaders and vendors to determine and implement solutions. This role is hybrid. You must be located within a drivable distance to our corporate headquarters in Richfield, MN. You might be asked to come into the office zero to three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge of physical access control, CCTV, and visitor management systems and sub-applications.
Assist with the planning, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, visitor management, and security systems at multiple locations.
Support team by reviewing issues reported from end users, determining, and reconciling discrepancies, solving for root cause, and establishing procedures to correct them.
Provide functional expertise and direction specific to application functionality and business processes.
Provide production support including on-call for existing applications and ensure timely communication to stakeholders.
Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques to determine a solution.
Assist in all necessary project phases for system implementations, enhancements to existing applications, and system upgrades.
Process new software releases and/or patches and documentation for Configuration Management, Infrastructure, and Support Services.
Collaborate with other technical staff to research, evaluate, develop, test, and implement new and/or currently unused functional and technical solutions to enhance the value of business systems.
Provide technical leadership and cross-train staff as needed on existing and new technologies.
Provide regular status updates to management regarding ongoing projects, maintenance, and systems support.
Assist with IT-related compliance requirements including control assessments and system documentation requirements.
Facilitate and/or participate in functional and technical solution reviews with management, developers, architects, and business representatives.
Analyze and document business processes, business requirements, use cases, technical designs, test cases, and other project lifecycle deliverables as required.
Collaborate and communicate across a wide variety of audiences within the technical organization and business end-user community.
Minimum Requirements:
1+ years of experience with administration & management of physical access control system
1+ years of experience in an IT oriented role
Preferred Requirements:
2+ years of troubleshooting Lenel application
2+ years of experience in CCTV (Milestone or Genetec)
Experience with visitor management software
Experience administrating access control security systems, such as Lenel
Experience with enterprise networks, both wired and wireless
Understanding of Microsoft operating systems
Experience with Active Directory
Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions
