  Job Purpose
  
  
  
  To assist all aspects of the Technical Services team as needed. Manage the shipping and receiving of all campus FedEx, UPS, DHL packages. Manage the Technical Services Building and provide support as necessary to the other buildings on the Ring campus. Assist in the management of all campus maintenance activities including janitorial services, ground maintenance, landscaping, pest control, HVAC, lighting and plumbing maintenance.
  
  
  
  Key Responsibilities and Duties
  
  
  
  
  
  • Be an integral part of the technical services team to reach the goal of becoming Best in Industry at project execution.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Packages and prepares shipping documents for UPS and Fed Ex shipments.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Receives packages and delivers to appropriate person or department. All parts for MFS will be entered into the CMMS, part labels attached to parts, and put away in the proper locations. This includes attaching the proper shipping documentation to work orders and verifying that the shipments going to locations have arrived undamaged. It also entails documenting incoming parts and entering them as assets when applicable.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Assists in the proper storage/Inventory control of the Engineering stockroom, keeping area neat and orderly.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Manages the performance of contracted janitorial services, grounds-keeping services, and pest control services.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Performs routine building inspections to ensure cleanliness and notes needed repairs that are brought to her/his attention.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Assists where needed on the headquarters campus.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Maintains adequate supply of cleaning, paper, and sanitary supplies.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Experience and Educational Qualifications
  
  
  
  
  
  • The Technical Services Assistant/Clerk must be able to read, write legibly and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
  
  
  • Basic computer literacy is required.
  
  
  • She/he must be able to operate UPS and Fed Ex software and be able to transport packages throughout Headquarters campus.
  
  
  • She/he should exhibit a sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation, and the desire and focus to improve the business.
  
  
  • The Technical Services Assistant/Clerk position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
