JOB SUMMARY:

The Slot Technician installs, adjusts, maintains, and repairs equipment to provide maximum utilization of all gaming related machines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Properly diagnose faulty equipment and troubleshoot to the sub-system level. ( MPU Board, etc.) Perform minor repairs on equipment to correct electrical, electronic and mechanical failures. Safely and effectively operate shop equipment including hand tools, soldering equipment, and test equipment. Maintain proper documentation on department repair logs, shift logs, daily shift report, and J.M.R.'s. Consistently follow machine entry procedures and repair procedures in order to pro-actively identify or prevent future equipment problems. Effectively interpret slot machine conditions by use of self-test and last game recall functions. Complete projects and machine moves as assigned. Respond to floor calls in an expeditious manner and spend enough time on the floor to be familiar with operational issues..

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Literate and fluent in English. Ability to read and interpret schematics, electric circuitry, and blueprints. Ability to handle hand tools, power and machine equipment, testing gauges and instrumentation. Ability to feel heat, smells smoke, and sees minute calibration of equipment. Ability to handle small parts and manipulate objects. Auditory range within immediate environment.
