The HPE Service Provider (SP) Global Business Unit is a fast growing global team driving a rapidly expanding multi-billion dollar segment of HPE's compute business. The HPE Global SP team is looking for a highly motivated Go-To-Market (GTM) intern to assist with driving HPEs WW SP GTM activities for incubation and install base alike. The candidate will be accountable for planning, creating and executing SP specific GTM programs, acting as the key focal point for WW GTM activities including; positioning HPE's product and services portfolio for the Service Provider segment, driving sales and regional interlock and cadence on GTM activities, and working hand-in-hand with the global product and technical business development teams. The candidate will be responsible for the expansion of HPE's presence into new logos, and expansion in existing logos, through targeted activities, training, campaigns, and hosting events to build skills and advocacy across the geographic regions and sales teams.

The candidate must have experience in marketing, understanding of GTM programs, be naturally self-motivated, a strong team player and has strong skills in structuring, communicating and executing programs involving technical topics.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and secure approval for GTM plans and budgets.

  • Direct cross-functional, cross- organizational teams and agencies in the development and execution of GTM plans and budgets.

  • Develop/own GTM scorecard/dashboard and associated metrics/goals/ benchmarks; track/report progress against them.

  • Develop closed-loop post- analysis for marketing programs and identify/execute indicated actions.

  • Develop company value proposition(s), offering/ segment messaging, and manage/monitor their delivery.

  • Develop/define customer segmentation strategies and customer experience plans and execute/monitor them.

  • Develop/manage customer database/analytics.

  • Perform marketing support activities as needed, e.g., Siebel MRM/CRM, PO/accrual management, collateral fulfillment.

  • Assist sales with development of sales training materials.

  • Partner with senior sales management on key retailer/reseller account calls/development.

Education and Experience Required:


  • 1 year+ marketing experience, including offering marketing, segment marketing, partner marketing, market research and customer database/ analytics.

  • Agency, sales and/or channel experience.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Knowledgeable on all aspects of marketing principles, practices, tools, offerings, segments, partner and account-based marketing.

  • Understanding of the industry, offering categories and company offerings/ strategy.

  • Strong project and budget management skills.

  • Excellent written/oral communications.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams..

  • Strong influencing and consensus-building skills.

Impact/Scope:


  • Drive/execute/evaluate marketing strategies and tactics that drive demonstrable revenue, share gains and customer/partner engagement.

  • Strong partner to sales in key account acquisition/ development.
