Support Process Engineering in completing projects and special assignments in an efficient and timely fashion
Audit process steps, identify improvement areas, and propose and deploy effective solutions in collaboration with the engineering team
Proactively and effectively communicate project status, test results, etc. to engineering personnel
Plan and organize initiatives to continuously improve and reduce variations in specific operations or processes
Leads communication with tool manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers to support project and production necessities
2) Operational Logistics Support- 30%
Perform Material Review Board assessments and disposition materials appropriately
Establish and maintain organized production WIP storage locations
Create and maintain operational procedures detailing all mechanisms of WIP material movements and interdepartmental transfers
Create and maintain digital or paper forms, travelers, and logs to document and track wafer progress through the production line
Write, review, and maintain operating procedures and work instructions, and train production operators and technicians as needed
Maintain high quality work-environment housekeeping standards
3) Equipment Engineering Support- 30%
Troubleshoot malfunctioning production tools and lead corrective action through effective collaboration with engineering, operations, management, and/or outside vendor personnel
Work with process or equipment engineers to create and maintain robust equipment PM scheduling, and works with tool manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers to minimize or eliminate tool downtime
Create and catalogue part drawings for specialized or experimental process components as needed, and work with outside vendors or fabricators to supply or create unique equipment components
Support equipment installations and various equipment capability studies in conjunction with appropriate/responsible engineers and/or supervisors
4) Human Resources / Administrative- 5%
An ESGP is co-developed and pursued.
Department information systems, records, reports and metrics are accurate and generated on time

Education:
Bachelors' degree
or
High school diploma plus 5 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing or processing environment
Experience:
Experience with problem solving, analysis, resolution, and troubleshooting
Demonstrated ability to achieve results independently or working with others
Ability to recommend and implement improvements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to perform basic engineering drawings using Solidworks, Autocad, or similar
Experience with networked PC based computer system (MS Office, spreadsheets, access, graphics, Email, MRP systems, and accounting software)
