In this role, you will have the flexibility to work onsite at the corporate office in Dodgeville, WI every Tuesday and additionally one full week per month during our collaboration week. You will have the ability to work from home on days not required onsite.

As an intern, you will join over 5,000 talented individuals who are leaders, critical thinkers, accountable, curious, flexible, and results-minded all driving toward the same goal - to delight customers and drive sales through multiple channels. In addition, you will join a diverse group of individuals from a variety of colleges, universities, and areas of study. Our internship program is designed with future leaders in mind and serves as a pipeline for top talent. Participants in our program receive one-on-one mentorship while working alongside seasoned professionals. Our Sales Operations Team is a fast-paced group of go-getters, driven by the desire to make our organization run efficiently and smooth. The team will collaborate on problems and find solutions, enthusiastically finish projects, and drive success within the organization. As a summer intern, you’ll learn about how we support our outstanding sales team and programs to drive growth, revenue, and success at Lands’ End.

The sales operations intern will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with many departments such as customer service, sales, marketing, merchandising, finance as well as other business departments. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to try a variety of areas in business to determine areas of interest for future career opportunities.

This position assists in improving and updating processes, performing system audits and/or account updates. Accountable for various sales operations projects that could involve communications, customer relationship management systems, sales learning, and sales enablement tools and resources. Assist in helping build out the documentation for the sales operations and sales team - support the sales and operations teams on communications, internal reference documents, etc. Work on a variety of other sales operations projects.

  • Work with sales operations and sales partners to execute upon the strategic vision of the department - supporting cross functional projects and delivering process improvements which increase the quality of work and improve the customer experience

  • Manage relationship and communication between cross-functional partners

  • Actively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions

  • Update account documentation and/or sales enablement tools

  • Participate in additional projects as assigned to achieve strategic business goals

  • May work on special projects/other duties as assigned


  • Experience in effectively collaborating and communicating with cross functional partners and colleagues in a friendly, easy-to-understand and efficient manner, consistent with Lands' End philosophies.

  • Action-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects while remaining flexible in a self-directed, organized, decisive, professional, and objective manner.

  • Ability to identify & implement innovative operational processes as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, verbal, listening and negotiation skills as well as the ability to think creatively.

  • Ability to delegate, hold self and others accountable, and prioritize tasks for optimum efficiency.

  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills with the ability to be uncover root causes.

  • Demonstrate self-awareness and a desire to grow professionally. 

  • Currently enrolled in a program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related degree

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Strong written and communication skills

Bonus Points for Familiarity with:

  • Access, PowerPoint, and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc)

  • SharePoint

  • Salesforce or other CRM tools
