SHIFT HOURS
Day Shift - 5:30am - 2:00pm
SUMMARY
Position is expected to operate a standard sit-down propane, Reach Truck & Cherry Picker forklift. Forklift operators will move, pick, load, unload and store product and inventory in the warehouse. Other various warehouse duties will be performed when not operating a forklift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform duties related to full cycle warehouse duties as they relate to to include; operation of cherry picker, receive pick order, pick products according to que, load products, assist with in-bound orders, assist with packing as needed.
- Accurately document all inbound product, noting exceptions. Record put away location
- Ensure orders are selected accurately and timely, within departmental standards
- Prepare goods for outgoing activity
- Inspect incoming goods and handle inbound product in a manner that does not damage product
- Safely move goods from one point to another within the warehouse and onto/off of awaiting trailers
- Comply with all Safety and Security policies
- Monitor all product received for damage on cartons.
- Prepare parts boxes.
- Check-in Independent Contractor's previous day's routes and delivery tickets, along with Inventory Log.
- Dispose of scrap product
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Additional inventory control duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
High school or G.E.D. degree; minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:
Certified license of powered material handling equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. The employee must be able to carry and climb a ladder. Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day) Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis. Must be able to use hands and feet simultaneously and for repetitive movements.
