The Chief Nursing Officer will report to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Supported by one of the best Nurse Directors of Surgical Services that Colorado has to offer,  as well as two Nurse Manager Surgical Services, the CNO will have all the resources needed to lead top quality patient care.  

The Chief Nursing Officer will be working in a fast-paced unit with a tenured and experienced staff. The Operating Rooms in this 300+ bed hospital tend to run on a tight schedule by some of the best healthcare professionals that Colorado has to offer. This department offers a wide variety of procedures, from Orthopedics, to Cardiovascular Care, to Cancer Services.

The job responsibilities for the Chief Nursing Officer will be accountable for the daily operations of this facility. They will approve the implementation of methods that could improve the productivity of the hospital. The CNO will also assure that the facility achieves both the financial and operating targets that are defined in the Budget and Strategic Plan. They will also ensure high quality service and efficiency into day-to-day operations. The CNO will be a resource to enhance revenues, reduce costs, and achieve effective utilization and quality goals and objectives. The ideal CNO will have five years of tenure as a CNO at a hospital of a similar size.
