This is a hands-on, technical support position and the ability to provide servant leadership from corporate is critical to the success of the Technical Services Department. This position will provide hands-on support in the MFS shop and provide field management/Support for mechanical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as, blow-molding and downstream packaging equipment repairs, modifications and installations. Communication of all project and support activities is a critical responsibility of this position. Promote good housekeeping habits related to maintenance; and communicate ideas and other problems to the management staff.

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment to meet or exceed company established safety culture.
Follow Lock out/Block Out/ Tag out policy.
Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
Proactive in addressing unsafe conditions and confronting unsafe behaviors in the facility.
Participate and/or conduct safety training as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
To provide service to all plants nationwide, as needed.
Assist in rebuilding in equipment and assemblies.
Travel to plants/facilities for equipment installations and technical support. Be able to assist with these installations.
Assist in generating designs for various machines.
Understand how to read part and layout drawings
Measure or assist with measuring incoming parts and verify with prints
Safely rig equipment for movement and placement.
Prep, prime and paint equipment and train others in these skills.
(Arc, Mig and Tig) welding and cutting torch.
Read/Use Volt meter, understand electricity
Understand and Lead 5S, TPM, safety and CI programs.
Practice good housekeeping 5S of materials and shop supplies.
Provide Campus support as needed
Experience and Educational Qualifications
The Technical Service Representative must be able to lead and or assist with off-site projects and lead contractors per drawings supplied by engineering. He/She must also be familiar with blow molding machinery and support equipment and preferred to have three (3) years' work experience involving maintenance, simple design, fabrication, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. The candidate must maintain good employee relations to interact with maintenance and machine operator personnel at plant facilities.
Our current Technical Service Representative requires a high school diploma or equivalent. A 2-year Associates or 4-year technical degree is preferred.
