Overview

We are looking for a Database Systems Engineer Senior to join our team. This position will directly report to the AVP Infrastructure Architecture Eng and Ops and is responsible for the support and overall operation of the Company's information technology infrastructure database architecture, infrastructure, and general technical support.

• Support database technology systems, projects, and acquisitions/divestitures


• Database Architecture


• Administrative Process design


• Server backups and recovery process


• Systems design and documentation


• Managed hosted databases


• Disaster Recovery planning and execution


• Ability to create process and procedures, then transfer to administration team for implementation.

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS or Computer Science is preferred


• 5 to 10 years' experience in progressively more responsible role support


• Information Technology support in a 2000+ user environment is required


• Broad and in-depth experience in a Microsoft SQL environment is mandatory


• Experience working with outsourced helpdesk and other administration teams


• Practical experience engineering highly available SQL environments, and experience with Microsoft hosted databases
