What you will enjoy doing*


  • You will be responsible for, but not limited to, transactingrequisitions forprimarily Static and Bulk Equipment/Material commodities by carrying out thestrategic sourcing process

  • Further you will be collaborating with LE strategic sourcingteam to create, maintain and negotiate local and/or global frame agreementsconsistent with Linde Engineering product line strategy and business interests

  • Follows procurement standards and quality systems andfocuses on compliance with procurement work processes

  • Supporting projects at preparation of Project ProcurementStrategy / Project Procurement Plan and the selection of suppliers for bidderlists is part of your role

  • Using available forecasts, understand and identify allcorresponding risks and opportunities and obtain best in class supplier priceand delivery performance

  • You will conduct timely review of all proposals and ensuremost competitive opportunity is included in capital project proposal estimate

  • Facilitate technical & commercial TCO evaluations with stakeholders

  • Actively manage key suppliers and foster strategicrelationships creating a competitive advantage for Linde Engineering

  • Establish KPI's with Key suppliers to effectively drivesupplier behaviors. Lead supplier measurement process with relevant

  • Engineering, Operations and Business input, in addition you will leadnegotiations for supplier back charges and claims

  • Understanding supplier capacity and lead time constraints,and effectively communicating any risks back to project team and business


What makes you great


  • Bachelor's Degree required; Procurement, Purchasing, SupplyChain Management, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fieldspreferred

  • Further you must have at least five years of industryexperience with engineered equipment in direct support of capital projects(Preferably in an EPC environment)

  • Experience with Commercial Contracts is a plus

  • International Association of Contract & CommercialManagement certification required within one year of start date

  • You have effective communication skills both verbally and inwriting with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside theorganization

  • As well as the ability to write reports, businesscorrespondence, and procedure manuals at a professional level
