Job Description:

NVIDIA is now looking for a Senior Architectural Modeling Engineer!

As part of NVIDIA's interconnect team, you'll own feature development, architectural modeling and testing for a high speed link interface (including embedded microcontroller) that interconnects GPUs with other CPUs/GPUs. Join our dynamic team today!

What you'll be doing:


  • In this role, you will develop C++ based simulation models of NVLink Hardware/topologies


  • You will collaborate with the Software/Firmware/Hardware teams, participate in and lead discussions driving requirements, implementation and bringup


  • Define and write unit tests to demonstrate the software/model correctness and validate fullchip behavior


  • Support firmware/software development on the model


  • Participate in NVLink/GPU bring up in simulation, emulation and Si



What we need to see:

  • Completing a Masters Degree in EE, CS or ECE or related degree or equivalent experience


  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience


  • Strong experience with programming in C/C++


  • Deep knowledge of computer architecture fundamentals.


  • Strong debugging and analytical skills


  • Strong interpersonal skills are required (capable of coordinating with various teams, aiming to get answers, etc) along with the ability to work in a multifaceted, product oriented team



Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Passionate about low level software and architecture


  • Hold a MS or PhD with a focus on computer architecture

The base salary range is $178,000 - $308,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
