Responsibilities:



  • Daily use of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to help manage personnel security clearances; initiating and reviewing for accuracy initial investigations and periodic reviews; visit requests; reciprocity requests; verification of clearances; and other actions processed in this system.  Review/submittal of SF86’s and fingerprints will be required.




  • Initiation of MRPT requests for programs as needed.  Review/submittal of SF85s and fingerprints will be required.




  • Completes/submits hard copy encrypted VARs/VALs; access forms; revalidation forms; CAC request (TASS/TARR) forms; SCI requests; and any other customer required forms.




  • Assist in entering and maintaining information in the National Industrial Security System (NISS) account records for assigned companies. 




  • Will enter/maintain information in ACCS for contracts requirement.




  • Will enter data for the implementation and maintenance of Access Commander.




  • Maintain shared information used by the security team.




  • Performs other activities as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications: 



  • 3-5 years’ experience as a federal contractor providing industrial and information security support for government customers.




  • Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.




  • Knowledge of DISS, ACCS, NISS, and SWFT.




  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.




  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (work experience will be considered in lieu of degree).




  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.




  • Excellent written and oral communication skills needed to work candidates.




  • Attention to detail and ability to learn processes quickly.




  • Strong organizational and time management skills.




  • Must understand and comply with confidentiality expectations of PII information.



 

Salary Range: Up to $77,000 The salary offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, work experience, and their ability to meet the known requirements of the position as determined at the time of hire. Job location will also be a factor in determining the salary offered.
