Basic Qualifications

Education/Training: 

A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field is preferred; specialized banking education and training.

Skill(s): 

Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations, communicative and sales skills; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services; a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures; moderate computer skills; valid driver's license.

Experience: 

A minimum of two (2) years’ related experience in consumer lending, auto lending consumer finance or dealership finance.

Hours:

Ability to work flexible schedule Monday – Friday within the hours of our business (8:30 am to 7:00 pm) and a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month (10:00 am to 2:00 pm) included in the schedule.

General Responsibilities

Responsible for performing a variety of duties to meet the Indirect Lending needs for the organization; supporting the Bank Secrecy Act; achieving customer service/loan goals as established annually; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the indirect lending function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and customer files and providing assigned reports.

Essential Duties

1. Performs various duties to support the Indirect Lending function as illustrated by the following:
   
   
   1. Review and analyze auto Loan application requests from participating auto dealerships.
   
   
   2. Capable of accurately interpreting credit quality, collateral evaluations within the guidelines and policies provided.
   
   
   3. Analyze consumer credit reports to make and recommend decisions on loan requests using sound judgment to identify risks, financial ability and collateral strength and to ensure accuracy and compliance with current underwriting and processing guidelines.
   
   
   4. Ability to review loan documents for accuracy prior to funding.
   
   
   5. Foster strong relationships with our existing dealer partners and grow new relationships with dealerships to achieve future growth.
   
   
   6. Follow all internal guidelines to achieve loan volume goals.
   
   
   7. Participate in all company training regarding compliance, policies, regulatory guidelines and procedures within the scope of the company’s core business.
   
   
   8. Knowledgeable of consumer lending laws and regulations
   
   
   
   


2. Communicates with management and staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities.


3. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other Bank personnel, customers, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.


4. Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports.


5. Provides guidance, on-the-job training, and technical assistance to Indirect Lending Assistant(s).


6. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.


7. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements.
