Compensation and Benefits: Starting salary will commensurate with experience
Salary range: $41,000-$48,000.00 annually.

Professional Responsibilities:
Professional conduct that is consistent with all appropriate organizational standards, policies, and requirements stated in employment agreement. Maintain positive, professional demeanor, helpful and responsive in emergency situations, adult role model for students, families, and staff. Follow all governmental, regulatory, and organizational guidelines for safe schools.
Attend all required meetings regarding schools Covid-19 Public Health Plan
Attend all required meetings regarding regular school maintenance plans
Learn, know, and understand all CDPH/CDE guidelines for Covid-19 and ensuring clean and safe schools.
Complete all cleaning and cleaning equipment training.
Provide appropriate feedback and insight toward the development of school policies that help guide school’s public health, safety, and security goals
Work with administration, staff, students, and families to create robust protocols, and procedures for regular cleaning, disinfecting, and protective strategies to minimize potential spread of Covid-19 or other viruses and pathogens within the schools
Maintain standard use of all professional protective equipment, gloves, goggles, masks, to carry out job responsibilities
Complete all daily cleaning logs
Maintain all weekly cleaning and materials use report logs
Maintain all monthly cleaning and materials use report logs
Maintain all weekly building maintenance requests logs
Maintain all building maintenance monthly completion logs
Maintain all building maintenance materials use logs
Provide documentation to guide and ensure accuracy for all cleaning and/building maintenance materials budgeting and ordering
Prepare quarterly health custodian/building maintenance budget reports
Provide notification and documentation of all deliveries to immediate supervisor
Coordinate and oversee all large-scale deliveries of school materials and equipment
Work seamlessly and supportively with all other cleaning and maintenance personnel on both campuses for daily and year-round departmental efforts
Work at other school campus as needed
2. Cleaning Responsibilities: Covid-19 Standards
Clean and Disinfect all student/staff bathrooms including floors and fixtures and door handles daily
Maintain supply and function of all hand sanitizer materials and equipment
Clean and Disinfect gymnasium bleachers, gym floors, restroom stall partitions, and locker rooms, and clinics, including bio-waste if necessary
Clean and Disinfect all stair rails, guard rails, and pony walls daily
Clean and Disinfect all lobbies and common areas including furniture daily
Clean and Disinfect all teachers lounges and respite areas daily
Clean and Disinfect all health clinics and furniture daily
Clean and Disinfect all security keypads and exit and entrance door hardware daily
Clean and Disinfect all hallway locker exteriors daily
Clean and Disinfect all outdoor seating areas daily
Clean and Disinfect all playground equipment daily
Maintain clean and orderly custodial storage daily
Empty classroom trash and recycling at the end of day
Follow all safety protocols for use of potentially harmful agents and materials
3. Building Maintenance Responsibilities:
Maintain the safety and functionality of all school equipment and systems including, notification of safety, security, maintenance problems or concerns to immediate supervisor/administration in a professional, and timely manner, scheduling repairs, inspections, and maintain necessary documentation for:
HVAC
Fire and Safety
Security
Elevators
Electrical not requiring license
Plumbing not requiring license
Kitchens/Kitchen Equipment
All cleaning equipment
Storage areas and shelving
Interior/ exterior Furniture
Interior/ exterior Fixtures
Interior/ exterior Lighting
Interior/ exterior Doors
Interior/ exterior Door hardware, latches, closers, etc.
Interior/ exterior Windows
Carts
Exterior playground areas, safety mulch levels and equipment
Fencing, gates, locks, etc.
Exterior signage, barricades, traffic markers, cones, etc.
Interior signage, arrows, and notifications, etc.
Interior/Exterior event and activity set-up
Interior/ exterior line painting
Empty grounds trash
Interior/ exterior painting
Light snow removal, entries and exits only, pedestrian walkways, including ice melt, and other appropriate applications as needed.
4. Record Keeping and Reports:
Create and maintain 12-month Health Custodian/Building Maintenance calendar for inspections, events, seasonal activities, etc. Create facility wide maintenance manual
Share all necessary calendar activities and events, inspections to appropriate departments regularly.
Compile weekly, monthly, logs and activity records for quarterly HC/BM reports to PHA and admin team
Compile annual HC/BM reports to help guide annual budgeting and procurement needs
Complete all materials funds requisition forms
Maintain up to date and comprehensive facility-wide maintenance and repair logs
Complete all supply and materials purchase requisition forms needed for procurement purposes
Maintain appropriate stock of regularly needed maintenance items
Protect staff and student confidentiality when accessing and maintenance sensitive information spaces and equipment, and all interactions with visitors to the facility.
