Finvi (previously Ontario Systems) is looking for a Product Manager.

This position will be remote. You may work where you live anywhere in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the financial and operational challenges facing the third-party collections market or experience in healthcare revenue cycle and a solid track record of delivering on-time and on-budget product releases.

The Role

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring product line business needs are effectively and efficiently realized by the development organization. You will work closely with architects and development teams to evaluate software design options, prioritize technical debt and infrastructure work, and assess technology platforms to inform product roadmaps. This professional self-starter will report to a Director, Product Management and work closely with key stakeholders in development, operations, client support, and implementation.

What You'll Do


  • Deliver product releases on-time and within budget based upon agreed scope

  • Ensure business needs appropriately reflect different end-user personas' pain-points

  • Translate business needs into development requirements, compliant with SAFE practices at Finvi

  • Work with Product Design (UI/UX) to optimize workflows, user interfaces, and visual design

  • Prepare software design plans including product specifications and use case documentation

  • Coordinate beta tests

  • Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance

  • Ensure business needs and priorities are maintained in a prioritized backlog used by development teams

  • Work with architects and development teams to agree on design and implementation methodologies, effective prioritization and management of technical debt, M&S, and relevant infrastructure work

  • Understand, research, and follow technical and industry trends

  • Work with development team and Scrum Managers to monitor progress and to maintain product release status dashboards

  • Manage the retirement lifecycle, identify alternate/replacement solutions, and understand impact/cost and support needs

  • Own and monitor product performance, product quality, and success of products based on customer response

  • Work with client support team to resolve customer issues as needed

  • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities

What You'll Need


  • College degree required; Business or Computer Science degree preferred

  • 5 years of experience in a relevant role or industry

  • Execution-focused mindset

  • SaaS experience required

  • An understanding of collection workflows and how software can streamline the billing and payment process or healthcare revenue cycle experience.

  • Leadership experience on a team that designed, built, or used collection workflow solutions

  • Robust technical fundamental skills, especially in building software

  • Problem solving skills; able to analyze a problem and design creative solutions

  • Attention to detail; extraordinary eye for usability and the customer experience

  • Excellent written communication skills; able to succinctly convey complex ideas through the written word

  • Great people skills; able to facilitate, negotiate and persuade stakeholders

  • Flexible and agile; able to rapidly adapt to changing situations and inputs

  • Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations

  • Ability to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $88,600 - $165,600 per year.

Finvi has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role (the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location). Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Finvi, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and equity. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
