Alvarez & Marsal Taxand UK LLP is looking for highly motivated, analytical, inquisitive and numerate individuals to support in becoming a dual qualified ATT and CTA qualified. Due to continued business growth and investment in building our team, graduate opportunities are available for those interested in becoming an Indirect Tax Advisor to a wide variety of clients from large companies to tech start-ups and privately managed businesses. We are currently recruiting for a September 202 3 start date.

You will join a team of high-achieving tax professionals benefiting from personal coaching and mentoring from our senior leaders with years of experience obtained in the Big Four, Industry and/or HMRC.

Throughout the 3-year programme, successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in different areas of indirect tax including but not limited to VAT, Customs, International, M&A, insolvency, compliance, allowing individuals to gain a better understanding of the various indirect tax specialisms open to them on successful qualification.

We will support you through your training to become both ATT and CTA qualified and from your first day in the office you will be involved in providing commercial and practical tax advice to our clients and expanding your own knowledge and skillsets.

Requirements and qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK


• 2:1 or higher undergraduate degree


• A-level ABB (or equivalent)


• IT skills - proficient in Excel and Word to intermediate level

• Relevant work experience preferred but not a necessity


• Evidence of significant non-academic achievements


• Business level English is a pre- requisite and any other languages are a bonus
