Calling all Inpatient Nurse Leaders! An exciting opportunity working as an Medical Surgical Services Nursing Director is readily available in North Carolina. 

The Nursing Clinical RN Director Medical Surgical Services will be employed by a national healthcare system, working at a community hospital in North Carolina. The Nurse Director Med/Surg will work at a 300-bed acute care hospital known for an array of services including their Emergency Department, Cancer Care, Women’s Pavilion, and Surgical team. 

Joining the Nursing Administration team, the Director of Medical Surgical Services RN will oversee operations, budget, strategic planning, department goals, quality performance improvement initiatives for the Med/Surg department. Reporting to the Hospital Chief Nursing Officer, The Director of Medical Surgical Services RN will lead a team of nurse managers, nurse educators, registered nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff. 

Ideally, the Director of Medical Surgical Services RN will have previous management experience with a clinical background working in a medical surgical or step down unit. This individual should be an excellent communicator, organized, and excited to build and manage a growing team. 

The hospital is located just east of Raleigh North Carolina, and about two hours from the North Carolina Coast.
