Responsibilities

Basic Function/Scope:

The Food Service Receiver receives all product shipments, unloads and properly stores products, audits delivery sheets with products received, labels products with day/time stickers as applicable and conducts inventory audits on a regular basis.

Client and Customer Satisfaction/Relations:


  • Work with product vendors.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety and food handling procedures and regulations
  • Follows HACCP guidelines regarding food storage
  • Properly store and label products
  • Conduct regular inventory audits
  • Ensure proper levels of supplies and products
  • Receives products that can be validated by the ordering manager

Financial:

  • Eliminate waste wherever possible.
