The IT Manager of applications is responsible for the supervision of the Application support staff. By delivering technical and hardware support for Prospect Medical Systems as well as managing escalations and incidents for the entire IT Department.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Expert knowledge of healthcare claims processing and tools (e.q. EDI, Authorizations, Referrals, Contracting, and Pricing).
• Expert knowledge of IDX application and integrated bolt-on applications.
• Intermediate skill with MS SQL (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
• Good understanding of X12 data formats and XML.
• Intermediate Office 365 suite skills required.
• Intermediate project management skills required.
• Intermediate presentation skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent self-management skills required.
• Must be able to develop and implement activity and quality monitoring systems.
• Must be able to influence and gain support at all levels of the organizations.
• Must have advanced reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Individuals must be motivated, able to establish rapport and interact well with individuals on all levels while maintaining a professional image and attitude.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (e.q. 2 years of experience deploying and supporting healthcare applications and integrations).

Minimum Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience managing claims processes and integrations with IDX application. A minimum of 2 years of experience managing consultants and IT teams. ITIL fundamentals certification or equivalent experience. Understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Baldrige, ISO, PMI) preferred. Experience using project management processes, software, and tools is preferred. Intermediate understanding of database performance tuning preferred. 2 years of experience managing a developing team(s) remotely preferred. Experience with IRIS for Health/Cache database preferred.
