Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our Industrial Plant Engineering team. The successful candidate will be a growth-oriented professional with the ability to work independently to execute tasks and support multi-disciplined project teams.

The ideal candidate is an engineer with strong technical capability and communication skills to support a wide variety of projects, including those supporting manufacturing, process, and utility systems in the Food & Beverage and Consumer Goods Industries.  You may be asked to interface with clients to understand their process, utility, and packaging technology design requirements and will support the development of solutions tailored to their applications from conceptual, design, through detailed engineering and, start up.

What You Will Be Doing at Woodard & Curran:

• Conduct site surveys/audits to gather field data; prepare and interpret drawings.




• Perform detailed engineering design, including preparation of project specifications, installation drawing packages, and equipment schedules.




• Meet with client representatives, contractors, other engineering design firms, and plant personnel to support project execution.




• Collaborate with other project disciplines while working within project scopes, budgets, and schedules.




• Support QA/QC by working with senior engineers as required to deliver successful projects.




• This position regularly requires travel to client sites with overnight stays for the duration of the project assignment to support project kickoff events and site audits, engineering design reviews, construction oversight, as well as startup and commissioning efforts.

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Chemical Engineering.




• 2 - 4 years relevant experience with processing and packaging design for the private sector, including demonstrated ability to support project execution and meet with client’s representatives, contractors, other engineering design firms, and plant personnel.




• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Licensure or a willingness to become licensed is preferred.

Compensation

Pay:

This position’s anticipated pay range is provided below; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets.

Annual Incentive Bonus Opportunity:

Eligible positions may receive an annual cash bonus based on the role’s organizational level, and is represented as a percentage range of eligible earnings**
