Position Summary:
 




We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Property Manager at a rapidly growing and dynamic property management organization. This position is responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the community while ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of the residents in the community. What You Will Do:  





  • Have a complete 360-degree view of property performance in relation to leasing, operation success, reputation management, accounting, and all maintenance activities.

  • Ensure all property accounting inclusive of rents, late fees, and account charges are collected, posted, and deposited in a timely manner.  

  • Ensure the development of your team through ongoing training, instruction, counseling, and leadership. 

  • Record and communicate all maintenace requests/needs to the maintenance team in a timely manner.  

  • Maintaining an elevated level of curb appeal through regular community inspections and tours.  

  • Address resident concerns and requests in a timely manner to ensure resident satisfaction. 

  • Responsible for training and routine awareness of emergency situations to ensure proper response and guidance for the community.  

  • Stay up to date with competitive market rents and trends.  

  • Ensure all team members are engaged in the career development process (i.e., performance evaluations, salary reviews, timesheets, change of status forms, etc.).  

  • Ensure that A/P invoices are submitted for payment, handle petty cash and all funds. 

  • Manage vendor communications concerning scheduling, billing, vendor relations and certificates of insurance.  

  • Other assignments directed by the Regional Property Manager.






Who You Are: 





  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. 

  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of multifamily experience, including management.   

  • Above-average ability to communicate with clients and with co-workers both verbally and in writing. 

  • Entrata and Nexus proficiency preferred. 

  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some holidays as required. 

  • Ability to learn and comply with industry legal requirements, especially related to Federal and Local Fair Housing Laws. 

  • Marketing experience leveraging multiple mediums, including social networking. 

  • Candidates will be required to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screening. 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time, sitting or standing 

  • Occasional travel to projects and sites
