Create, shape, own and execute the digital product roadmap and vision, conveying to Pod members, platform partners, and operating unit stakeholders
Lead product to success (incl. representing voice of the customer with respect to digital product features, and grooming best-in-class product features with analysis of impact vs value)
Define and prioritize Pod efforts; collaborate with Pod members, including the development team and Agile coach to develop, design, build and launch the product
Manage stakeholder expectations regarding what is being built and by when; challenge stakeholders and team to be innovative and forward thinking – the art of the possible
Achieve clearly defined Objectives and Key Results, and work with Program Execution and Analytics teams to track initiatives and benefit realization

Experience managing and launching a digital product or capability
Excellent communication and presentation skills, very comfortable speaking with senior leaders
Strong self-motivator, with a contagious ability to spread energy to team
Demonstrated ability to think both strategically, tactically and deliver business value
Knowledge of Agile values, principles, and practices; certified Scrum product owner is a plus
Responsibilities:
Lead product to overall success according to clearly-defined OKRs and KPIs as part of digital transformation – Pod owner serves as the mini-CEO of digital product/service end to end
Observe, learn about, contact, and analyze end users of the product, agnostic of distribution channel or user persona; drive product capabilities to exceed best-in-class market leaders
Own Pod vision and set priorities to deliver impact to the customer as quickly as possible
Balance cross-functional inputs to set direction for journeys
Ensure best-in class solutions, design thinking, and customer-centricity from conception to launch
Liaise with Underwriting/Product, Operations, Sales and Claim domain leads to understand product features, objectives, performance in the marketplace
Track and measure product progress; define KPIs, processes, and metrics to track with process engineer, design engineer, and CX/Value chain analytics platform teams
Effectively partner with process engineers and analytics teams to design A/B testing for features
Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
Define, refine, and prioritize user stories/epics/tasks daily including leading interactions with other units
Facilitate planning of Pod sprints to reaffirm priorities and agree on business requirements
Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog
Specify acceptance criteria for each user story and write acceptance tests
Clearly communicate the requirements to the team
Facilitate release planning with stakeholders
Participate in sprint meetings
Build and maintain strong relationships with operational stakeholders as well as other pod owners and domain leads
Coach development and design teams with detailed guidance during product development
Required Experience:
Background in computer science, technology, or UX preferred
Preferred Experience:
Experience in product development, technology and/or marketing/product operations
Experience as a Product Owner, BSA/BSL, or Product Manager delivering digital solutions
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle
Experience in Agile methodologies
Experience with customer journeys and customer experience, with reference to insurance
In Jersey City, NJ the pay range for the role is $106,500 to $176,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
