Job Summary:

During the 5-12 month co-op block there will be opportunities for the student to work in the Global Packaging Department which is a segment of our Global Supply Chain Organization. The student will be responsible for supporting engineering activities in structural package design, packaging equipment design and supporting documentation.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

• Strong package engineering skills and practices


• Understanding of distribution environments and related simulation testing


• Understanding of packaging equipment design and material interface


• Good technical risk assessment and analytical skills


• Ability to offer viable packaging recommendations within the constraints of time, cost, quality and delivery


• Good organizational and project management skills


• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team


• Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks concurrently


• May be required to participate in special projects as appropriate


• Experience in Lean Six Sigma is beneficial

Travel Requirements: Local travel during business hours
