We are seeking a dynamic Additive Applications professional who has proven success presenting capabilities to
prospective customers, working with re-sellers to augment their AM capabilities, and leveraging high-end technical
support across platforms.

What You Will Do
- Support sales responding to RFQs/RFPs
- Provides primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/
solutions.
- Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales
presentations and product demonstrations.
- Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare
detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions.
- May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions.
- May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring
rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client.
- May provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
- Provide Win/Lose Assessments in Sales situations
- Develop on-going competitive analysis of product against competition
- Provide technical support to customers when level of problem elevates it beyond internal Technical Support group
- Participate in new product releases
- Contribute to product collateral development
- Machine set up and clean up
- Post-processing modelsWhat You Will Need

Education and Training
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent work experience

Experience
- 1-2+ year(s) of advanced 3D design/CAD systems experience
- 1-2+ year(s) of demonstration of software application
- Experience working in a highly independent and matrix environment
- Demonstrated experience using 3D printing as a tool to solve complex problems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Surface/solids machining knowledge
- Experience with additive, subtractive, and extrusion technology a plus
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and technical communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to assess technical risk/challenge as they arise
- Able to coordinate across multiple sites, functions and time zones
- Translate technical knowledge to present to outside customers
- Engineering skill set knowledge, to involve appropriate key resources when required
- Ability to assess technical risk/challenge as they arise

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $76,000 - $106,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
- In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance.
- 3D Systems offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage, company-paid short-term
and long-term disability insurance, and company-paid basic life insurance. Sick Leave, Flex (Vacation) Time, Parental
Leave, and 8 holidays per year are also provided as paid time off. 3D Systems also provides a 401(k) Retirement Savings
