Job Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Performs general guest room, commercial area maintenance, repairs, plumbing, and electrical equipment. Completes engineering check list and other maintenance reports. Performs general carpentry, tiling, painting and wall surface repairs. Locate & correct in-room heating. Ventilation, air conditioning malfunctions. Make systematic checks on all guest room electrical appliances, circuits: being able to repair most in-room defects. Handle all in-house repairs in regards to removing & replacing bathroom tile. Painting, repairing wall-board, wall vinyl, carpentry, etc. Utilizing basic hand & power tools required for general maintenance. Completing Engineering checklists and other maintenance records. Maintenance tools, workspace and equipment. Comply with policies and procedures of the Casino standards manual. Perform other services or duties as required by the Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have the ability to provide our guest with excellent customer service. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. 3 - 5 yrs. general knowledge of maintenance and repair using basic hand and power tools. Experience working with painting, plumbing and carpentry. Must be able to communicate and manage personnel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education : High School or equivalent.

Experience : 3 - 5 years of general knowledge of maintenance and repair using basic hand and power tools.

Certificate/License : Must have a permit to work in the United States.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: All ELDORADO RESPORT facilities.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Must be in good physical shape and mentally alert.
