Job Description:

Summary:

Provides comprehensive consultation to the business unit and IT Project management and strategies. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Responsible for project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Provides specialized knowledge and analytical guidance to project team.

Major Duties:

1. Provides comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT Project management and strategies.

2. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.

3. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.

4. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

5. Acts as a resource for direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff. 6. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.

7. Handles the most complex IT projects. Coordinates with users to determine requirements.

8. Leads a team of IT PMs and guide them to solve complex problems. Provide cadence to the IT management and Business management on the ongoing projects

9. Handles the budget forecast and track the actuals of the Cash IT organization and provide the variance on a weekly basis to the key IT and business stakeholders

Knowledge/ Skills:

Specialized knowledge of IT projects , excellent consultative skills, strong analytical ability and ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff. Strong analytical skills are needed to analyze and evaluate technical information and coordinate projects. Requires strong communication, technical teamwork and interpersonal skills. PMP certification would be an added advantage

Experience:

Required Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and twelve years related experience as a project team member of which at least two years have been in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
