An award-winning acute care hospital located in central New York is currently searching for an experienced RN Coordinator Labor Delivery to join their established healthcare system.

This regional leading medical center is home to over 500 inpatient beds and provides a wide variety of awarded acute care services. This location offers exceptional emergency and critical care, women’s health and birthing services, cardiology, oncology, behavioral health, surgical services, pediatrics, and much more. The RN Coordinator Labor Delivery will join a system that strives to provide optimal patient outcomes and promote ongoing community health.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the RN Coordinator Labor Delivery will lead and oversee the daily operations of the unit. The RN Coordinator is responsible for managing the unit staff schedule, leading unit huddle meetings, monitoring staff performance, helping with quality assurance projects, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies. The RN Coordinator also functions as a clinical expert within the unit and leads ongoing staff education and evaluation. This unit is proud to help deliver more than 300+ newborns each year.

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN


• Registered Nurse license in the state of New York or ability to obtain


• Prior leadership experience in a busy labor and delivery department
