Job Title:Director of Sales, Pricing, & Product Strategy

Reports To: VP/GM Hunt Valve

Summary

Hunt Valve, a Business Unit of Fairbanks Morse Defense, is looking for a Business Leader to join our team. This position will lead and direct sales, pricing, and product strategy to enhance profitability and continued growth.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and implement customer pricing policies that maximize market share and profitability.


• Support product costing analysis


• Deliver on yearly sales objectives


• Manage customer quoting and proposal development


• Lead customer pricing negotiations


• Lead development of future sales forecasts


• Maintain compliance with government pricing regulations


• Benchmark industry peers to assess competitiveness and maintain competitor profiles


• Support business strategy development and identify new product and market opportunities


• Provide guidance to the marketing department regarding promotional campaign messaging related to pricing

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent experience


• Understanding of contract negotiations and bids as well as proposal development


• Strong analytical skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel


• Experience with Business Intelligence software


• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; demonstrated competency in communication/presentation to executive levels


• Team player with strong leadership and project management capabilities


• Minimal travel (< 20% and domestic only
