A renowned health system is actively interviewing for a Critical Care Supervisor RN. 

This Critical Care Supervisor RN will join a large health system that has been serving patients and communities for over 50 years. This specific hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services including, Cancer Care, Cardiology, Dermatology, Home Health, neurology, and much more. 

The Critical Care Supervisor will report to the RN Manager of the Intensive Care Unit. The Supervisor will be supported by multiple Charge Nurses within the department who will assist with any staffing or clinical needs. The Nurse Supervisor will have the opportunity to form interdepartmental relations with other department leaders in order to ensure optimal patient care and smooth transition between departments. The Supervisor will also work alongside staff RNs and listen to any concerns or suggestions they have in order to keep the department successful.

As the Critical Care Supervisor, this person will have the opportunity to support staff, physicians, and management with the day-to-day operations of the Critical Care department. The Supervisor will assist in organizing, staffing, training, and coordinating the staff and department. Occasionally, the Nurse Supervisor will participate in providing patient care and working alongside staff to ensure daily work assignments are completed. The Supervisor will also be able to partner with management in decision making processes and assist in identifying and solving daily operational problems. This person will also provide evaluation into standard of practices and patient outcomes to ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards.
